How do you set up a loyalty program in a boutique?
Boutique customers come rarely but spend a lot per visit. That is why a boutique loyalty card works better with points by amount or a tier that singles out your best customers than with stamps. One notification when the new season arrives can bring customers back into the store.
How much spend for a reward?
A stamp card counts a ₺500 T-shirt and an ₺8,000 coat the same; in a boutique that is not fair. With a points card every purchase earns what it is worth.
Example (all numbers are examples only): give 1 point per ₺100 spent. At 50 points, a ₺250 accessory; at 150 points, an item worth ₺1,000. A customer who spends ₺3,000 twice a season reaches the first reward within one season; without an intermediate reward the card feels too far away.
Give points an expiry, for example 12 months. The deadline brings customers back the next season. Check the reward cost with the ROI guide.
Campaign ideas for boutiques
- New season: schedule a notification for the evening before the new stock hits the rails ("The autumn collection is in store tomorrow morning").
- Tier card: a customer who passes the threshold you set moves up from Silver to Gold. You decide what Gold customers get in store, for example a private after-hours preview of the new season.
- Birthday bonus: bonus points on their birthday; in a boutique it often turns into a gift to themselves.
- Win-back: remind at-risk customers who have not come in for two seasons of their points balance.
- Refer a friend: boutique customers often shop in pairs; the referrer earns bonus points. Automated campaigns, segments and bonuses are in the Growth and Pro plans, see pricing.
The flow at the till and the fitting room
Boutique customers are not in a hurry; they add the card while waiting for the fitting room or while their purchase is wrapped. At the till, staff scan the card's QR and add points by amount.
- Put the QR table card at the till and the sticker next to the fitting room mirror.
- Give staff one line: "Add the card and hear about the new season first."
- Add points at payment, using the same amount as on the receipt.
- Open a separate staff account for each sales assistant; the dashboard shows who recorded how many purchases.

FAQ
Frequently asked
Can I send discount coupons too?
Yes. Use the coupon card type to set up a time-limited discount.
Does it connect to my online store?
You can connect it with the API and webhooks on the Pro plan.
Tier card or points card?
A points card rewards every purchase by amount. A tier card makes your biggest spenders visible by moving them from Silver to Gold. If most customers come only now and then, a points card fits; if you have a small, loyal core, a tier card fits better.
I use a paper "VIP card". How do I switch?
Pick a switch date, and until then have every customer who shows a paper card open the digital card at the till. The steps are in the paper-to-digital guide.
Does my customer need to download an app?
No. The customer scans the QR with the phone camera and the card is added straight to Apple Wallet. On Android it opens as a saveable page in the browser; Google Wallet support is coming soon.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
On iPhone the card goes into Apple Wallet. On Android it currently works as a saveable browser page (stamping by QR is the same); Google Wallet support is coming soon. On both, the phone's own camera reads the QR.
Set up today, stamp the first card tomorrow.
Open your account, design your card, print your QR and put it on the table.
